Abstract
In 1970s, inspired by emergence of Uri Geller, a psychic born in Israel, many boys and girls with"paranormal abilities" appeared in Japan and were frequently high-lighted by media.
In several years, however, most of them either lost their abilities or withdrew from public appearance due to mounting pressures from surrounding situations or criticism by mass communication.
The three panelists invited this time have robustly survived such tough times and, today--nearly 30 years later--, they still keep up their abilities and apply them in their profession as well as in daily living.
Akiyama uses his abilities for business consultation and personal counseling. He is also active in various media as someone well-versed in "psi subjects" . He believes that the age will come when psi-abilities are taken for granted as natural part of everyone.
Kiyota, even today, demonstrates his unchanging feat of spoon bending in front of audience giving striking impressions to those who witness PK ability for the first time. He also continues educational activities on "Power of Imaging" , which everyone has but is unaware, by giving lectures from unbiased standpoint.
Tsutsumi gets himself involved in tests as "dowser" and in activities for educating general public. He has also developed psi-related measuring instruments and is active in their promotion and training.
Sasaki, president of The PSI Science Institute of Japan, repeatedly performed rigorous experiments on metal bending, psychic photography, etc., from the viewpoint of an academic expert and clarified special characteristics of these phenomena. As necessary conditions for the manifestation of psi-phenomena or psi-abilities, he has proposed theories of "Zero Field" , "Zero Magnetic Field" and "Zero Consciousness" . These concepts have gradually become common jargon used in the area of psi research.

≪要旨≫
　１９７０年代、イスラエル出身の超能力者ユリ・ゲラーの出現に触発され、日本でも多くの少年少女の“能力者”が現れ、メディア等での脚光を浴びた。しかし、その大半は数年で周囲のプレッシャーやマスコミによるバッシングによって能力を失ったり、表舞台から姿を消した。
　今回の３名のパネラーはその厳しい状況をたくましく生き残って、３０年近く経つ現在でもその能力を維持し、仕事や生活に活かしている。
　秋山氏はその能力をビジネスコンサルタントや個人カウンセリングに活かし、“サイ”の分野の博識家としてメディア等でも活躍し、超能力が誰にとっても当たり前の時代がくることを信じている。
　清田氏は現在でも人前でコンスタントにスプーン曲げを実演し、初めてＰＫ能力を見る人を感動させ、また自由な立場から講演等で誰もがもつ「イメージの力」の啓蒙活動を続けている。
　堤氏はダウザーとしての測定や啓蒙活動、またエンジニアとして新しいサイ関係の測定器を開発し、販売、指導に活躍している。
　佐々木茂美氏は、１９７０年代に初めて清田氏らの能力をもつ子供たちに、専門家の立場からメタルベンディングや念写等の本格的実験を重ね、その現象の特殊性を解明した。現在ではサイ現象、サイ能力の出現条件として、「ゼロ場」「ゼロ磁場」「ゼロ意識」の理論を展開し、その言葉も次第にサイの分野で使われるようになっている。
