An lnteresting Failure of the Large Size Suggestopedic Class
Hideo Seki*

Synopsis
This short paper is a final report on my large size suggestopedic experiment of two years about which the two papers have been already published in this journal. As was shown in those previous papers, the peak of the score distribution curves had shifted to the superior side by gradual improvements of SALT techniques and the number of students has shown maximum around full marks at the first half semester of the last year.
Quite contrary to our exPectation, the number of students around full marks at the examination of january this year was remarkably decreased. lts reason was supposed to be due to the announcement that the the questions of examination shall be picked up from the SALT reading sentences. But, it was intersting that the SALT effect was enhanced for lazy students, in spite of the failure for diligent students. Most dligent students were secretly taking notes under the dim illumination, while the lazy students were unconsciously listening music during the passive sessions. The score distridution curves of the last examination clearly show that the number of students near zero marks have considerably decreased.
