Abstract
Many creative activities follow similarities.
Regarding the similarity, even if you express it as "similar",
the content can vary from concrete to highly abstract.
This paper states that similar content can be classified into the following five levels.
(1) Similarity at formal level
(2) Similarity of correspondence level
(3) Structural similarity
(4) Functional level similarity
(5) Principle level similarity
Of these five similarities, the ones written at the top are direct/concrete similarities,
and the ones written at the bottom are indirect/abstract similarities. Naturally,
the former is easier to discover, but in many cases it is a superficial similarity,
and it is difficult to lead to important realizations.
The latter, on the other hand, is more difficult to discover,
but is more likely to lead to important realizations because it often results in a similarity with an essential character.

１．類似性について
ものごとはそれを見る視点に沿ったものが見えてきます。
次の図は切断面の違いにより円錐に現れる断面が異なることを示すものです。
その視点がある類似性を表現する切断面の場合は、
その視点の意図する類似性に共鳴する現象が断面として見えてきます。
創造行為はその断面に現れた現象を辿って行われるものです。
さてその類似性ですが、“似ている”と表現してもその内容は
具体的なものから抽象度の高いものまでいろいろあります。
どのように何が似ているのか、これを整理する必要があります。
考察の結果、類似の内容は次の５つのレベルに分類できることを見つけました。
①形式レベルの類似性
②対応レベルの類似性
③構造レベルの類似性
④機能レベルの類似性
⑤原理レベルの類似性
この５つの類似性のうち、上に書かれているものほど、直接的・具体的な類似性で、
下に書かれているものほど、間接的・抽象的な類似性となります。
発見しやすいのは、当然のことながら前者ですが、表面的な類似性となる場合が多く、
重要な気づきにはつながりにくい。
一方後者は発見するのは困難ですが、本質的な性格を有した類似性となる場合が多い故、
重要な気づきに結びつく可能性が高くなります。
以下では、これらの各レベルの類似性について考察を進め特徴を明らかにします。
