Abstract
In order to understand detailed and complexity structure underlying ORB (optical ball), we studied a series of ORB using image fractal analysis. We found that fractal dimension was generally in the range from 2-3. Lower dimension implies reduced complexity and fluctuation, corresponding to silent and inactive status. Whereas high one means in a more fluctuation, corresponding to excited and active status. In addition, we found three sharp peaks in local fractal curve, indicating there was three levels in ORB. In comparison, we also investigated the Mandala images using fractal analysis and plotted phase space portrait (space attractor) in optical intensity space. Regarding fractal dimension, local fractal curve, and space attractor, they showed many similarities between ORB and Mandala. Fractal dimensions for ORB and Mandala are Dn=2.61 and Dn==2.70, respectively. In particularly, since Mandala was usually employed to training and praying for certain wishes, we suggest that ORB can be used to estimate the status in praying for wishes. Also appearance of ORB in some cases, together with its three complexity levels core, can be used to judgment of conditions to satisfying fulfilling a wish.
