Abstract
This paper studied the Effect of certain six voices from both Zen and universal sounds. The six voices are the six syllables of the mantra, as it is often pronounced by Om Ma ni Pad me Hum. Meanwhile the vocal sound, called universal voice, consists of six syllables of Japanese vowels /a/, /o/, /u/, /e/, and /i/n/, which have been used for pathological treatment and mental/physical trainings in practice. We analyzed the complexity signals of the syllables and sounds respectively based on modern chaotic dynamics. We reconstructed the chaotic attractor that resulted in computations of fractal dimensions. In corresponding to sounding order, fraction dimensions D2 ranged from 2.67- 3.82 in general. We concluded that each of the six syllables had self-similar complex structure which was described by 3-4 independent variables. In addition, in relation to the sounding order, D2 values followed an alternative variation. On the other hand, in order to study the energy components and vibration distributions, we employed wavelet transformation to the six syllables. We assumed that there were nonlinear resonances between vibrations of the six syllables and channels and collaterals or meridian energetic structures in human body. The resonances lead to a variety of influencing human body and open to anyone who feels inspired to practice it.
